To Enable .Net 3.5 on Windows 2008 R2 server core / hyper-v server you can run:

ocsetup NetFx3-ServerCore

on a full UI edition (non server core):

ocsetup NetFx3

i run it through a batch file

HVBackup -a -o \\backup\ServerBackups\Virtual Machines

the issue was probably the space between Virtual Machines

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this worked ocsetup NetFx3.

I think its working now i tested with command hvbackup -a -o c:\temp

seems to be doing something.

thanks for that

There's a space in your path, you should use quotes "..."

HVBackup -a -o "\\backup\ServerBackups\Virtual Machines"

Best,
