Hello,
when attempting to advance on WS 2012 R2 Stadard ENG throws the following error:
(on 2008 R2 and 2012 without problems)

I got the same problem on Windows Server 2012R2 Datacenter... In the same time for some of VMs there is another error

"Error: The requested object was a duplicate"...

Tried to search some information, but nothing helped.

No I'm using XCOPY command to copy all VHD's at least...

PS: On Windows 2008R2 I didn't have these problems. I've been using this tool as reliable one for almost 2 years and now don't know what to use for Montlhy backups :|.

Hi,

I just tried Build 1.0.1.0 on a German WS 2012 R2 Hyper-V Host (clustered) to backup from a CSV:

.\HVBackup.exe -l "Test-VM" -o \TTS01\hyper-v-export$\HVBackup

and get the same issue:

PS C:\batch\HVBackup> .\HVBackup.exe -l "Test-VM" -o \tts01\hyper-v-export$\HVBackup

I can see in Hyper-V Manager that Backup is about to start (State: "Backup in Progress...) Checkpoint File (Auto-Recovery.avhdx) will be created, after a while it Fails with error shown above: "The requested object does not exist."
I tried different VM's (with vFC / w/o vFC) and additionally in different states (Online / Offline) - but with same error.

Any updates for this issue?

Regards,
Markus
